Project Overview

Emplifai was a DeFi protocol focused on liquidity harvesting and yield farming across EVM-compatible chains.

The platform aimed to help users access yield opportunities through custom vaults connected to external protocols such as Allbridge pools. These vaults needed to handle staking, reward logic, protocol-specific flows, and secure user interactions.

I worked on the project as the Lead Blockchain Developer at Analog Mutations, alongside a team of blockchain developers. My main responsibility was developing, testing, and integrating smart contracts for yield farming vaults.

The Challenge

Every integrated protocol had its own reward structure, staking mechanism, and interaction flow. The vault contracts could not be treated as simple deposit and withdrawal contracts.

Each integration required close analysis of how rewards were generated, how staking worked, how funds moved between contracts, and how the vault logic should adapt to external protocol behavior.

The contracts also needed thorough testing before handoff for team deployment because DeFi vaults directly handle user funds and reward calculations.

My Contribution

  • Smart-contract delivery

    Developed Solidity smart contracts for custom yield farming vaults.

  • Vault logic

    Built liquidity harvesting, staking, reward, deposit, and withdrawal behavior.

  • Protocol integrations

    Integrated vault behavior with external protocols, including Allbridge pools.

  • Reward mechanisms

    Analyzed protocol-specific staking and reward structures and applied custom logic where required.

  • Foundry testing

    Created unit and integration tests covering staking, rewards, deposits, and withdrawals.

    Worked with other blockchain developers on code quality, deployment strategy, and repository handoff.

    Completed and submitted the assigned smart-contract work on time.

Emplifai demonstrates my ability to work on technical DeFi infrastructure, particularly yield-vault logic, cross-protocol integrations, reward mechanisms, and Foundry-based smart-contract testing.
