Sahal Wallet — Cosmos Staking & Wallet Integrations

Project Overview

Sahal Wallet is a halal-focused crypto wallet product. The app already had wallet infrastructure and support for existing chains, but needed to expand into the Cosmos ecosystem and introduce a complete staking experience.

I worked on the Sahal Stake feature from product design to implementation. This included understanding the existing app and backend architecture, designing staking wireframes and user flows, adding Cosmos-based wallet integrations, connecting EthicalNode validator flows, implementing staking and unstaking journeys, and supporting backend and SQS processing so the feature could fit naturally into Sahal’s existing system.

The Challenge

The challenge was not simply to add staking screens. Sahal already had a wallet app, wallet infrastructure, backend services, and an admin dashboard for other supported chains. The new Cosmos wallet and staking flows had to align with that existing product and architecture.

The feature also needed to be configurable from the admin side, allowing the team to control supported chains, validators, staking availability, and related product settings without hardcoding them into the app.

That meant coordinating mobile UX, Cosmos wallet integration, EthicalNode validator data, transaction flows, backend services, SQS processing, and admin-controlled configuration as one connected product system.

My Contribution

  • Product flows

    Designed the complete Sahal Staking journey and its Figma wireframes.

  • Cosmos integration

    Added Cosmos-based wallet integrations and mapped them to the existing app architecture.

  • Staking journeys

    Built staking, unstaking, validator selection, transaction summary, and confirmation flows.

  • Validator data

    Integrated EthicalNode validator-related flows and staking information.

  • Backend processing

    Connected mobile actions with backend services and SQS event processing.

  • Product configuration

    Designed support for admin-controlled chains, validators, staking availability, and settings.

  • Mobile delivery

    Supported React Native implementation, product iteration, and a clearer user-facing Web3 experience.

Outcome

The result was a cleaner, more complete Web3 wallet experience where users could interact with Cosmos assets and staking flows directly inside Sahal Wallet. The work expanded the app beyond its existing wallet support while remaining aligned with its backend architecture, admin controls, validator configuration, transaction processing, and mobile UX.

Instead of adding an isolated feature, the implementation connected product design, mobile flows, backend services, SQS processing, and admin-managed configuration into a more scalable product foundation.
