Project Overview

EthicalNode is a Shariah-compliant staking platform focused on helping users stake across supported blockchain networks without compromising faith-based investment principles.

After working on the original EthicalNode platform, the client returned for a V2 rebuild. I rebuilt EthicalNode V2 single-handedly in three weeks using AI-assisted coding, covering the public website, admin dashboard, investor dashboard, validator management, halal screener, and staking-related product flows.

The Challenge

EthicalNode V2 was not just a visual redesign. The rebuild included new product features, improved dashboard flows, and a referral system that needed to be designed and implemented from scratch.

At the same time, the existing backend and database schema had to remain intact. The new version needed to work with the current data model, preserve platform data, and avoid breaking staking, investor, validator, and admin records.

The challenge was to rebuild the product experience quickly while aligning the new frontend, referral flows, admin controls, investor dashboard, and staking views with the existing backend structure — without data loss or unnecessary backend disruption.

My Contribution

  • End-to-end rebuild

    Rebuilt EthicalNode V2 single-handedly in three weeks.

  • AI-assisted delivery

    Used AI-assisted coding to accelerate development and product iteration.

  • Public experience

    Built the public website and improved its structure, spacing, readability, and product story.

  • Admin systems

    Developed the admin dashboard, investor management, validator management, chain controls, tables, filters, actions, and status views.

  • Investor dashboard

    Created portfolio, staking, rewards, available balance, unstaking, transaction, and activity views.

  • Compliance tools

    Built halal screener views for clear Shariah compliance status.

  • Referral system

    Designed and implemented the new referral and rewards system from scratch.

  • Data preservation

    Kept the existing backend and database schema intact while aligning new flows with existing investor, validator, staking, and admin data.

Outcome

The result was a complete V2 rebuild delivered in a short timeline, giving the client a cleaner and more capable platform across the public website, admin operations, investor staking flows, and referral functionality.

The rebuild introduced new product features while preserving the existing backend and database structure, allowing the platform to move forward without data loss or unnecessary disruption to existing records and flows.
